Support Agawam
Support summers of joy and a lifetime of memories
There is no greater gift than the gift of opportunity and as a non-profit organization, Camp Agawam depends on the generosity of its alumni, families, and friends to ensure that the opportunities afforded to campers since 1919 are able to continue. Philanthropic support allows us to offer camperships, maintain and improve our facilities, develop and enhance our programming, and continue providing the Agawam experience to hundreds of boys each summer.

Support Community, Access, and Leadership
Support of Camp Agawam ensures more than just a great summer camp experience, it creates opportunities that enrich our community, transforms lives, and develops leaders. The majority of Agawam’s current fundraising supports:
- The Main Idea, which provides a week of the Agawam experience to over 100 Maine boys each summer, is 100% funded by charitable gifts from the Agawam community.
- Camp Agawam Camperships, which offers camp experiences for the 7-week season to over 20 boys each summer, including at least 6 boys from Maine.
- Seasonal Staff, who are the defining ingredient of the Agawam experience for our campers. Your financial support helps to ensure that Agawam can attract and retain the best counselors.

The spirit of volunteerism is strong at Agawam, and we are grateful to the many generous people who share gifts of time, skill, and hard work with camp each year. These contributions enable us to run the Main Idea program, train our staff, prepare our facilities for the season, stay in touch with friends, and run a successful 7-week program.
Along with providing important and useful service, volunteers get to catch up with friends and enjoy the wonderful community spirit at Agawam.
